What is Cricket New Brunswick
Cricket NB (CNB) is a not-for-profit community organization associated with Cricket Canada (National governing body for Cricket in Canada). CNB is aimed at talented young cricketers who have aspirations to play and promote the game. CNB provides the ‘best of both worlds’; an unrivalled level of cricket coaching and competitive match play.
Through passion and commitment, CNB as a team collaborate to promote Cricket in Atlantic Provinces. Any cricketer or cricket follower will know what an important role CNB has played in promoting Cricket in the Atlantic Provinces. In fact more than 30% of the entire cricket played in Atlantic Provinces takes place in New Brunswick.
Our playing program features around 30 days of strong, competitive cricket, whilst focusing on the development of the game through our “Have-a-GO@Cricket” program for children. We also compete in the Atlantic Province League matches (one-day 40 over matches) against the teams from Atlantic Provinces and take part in the annual Maritime Twenty:20 Championship.
