Description of service(s) The Police Commission is an independent and civilian quasi-judicial body, established by the New Brunswick Legislature. Its mandate is to oversee the handling of complaints concerning officer conduct and policies of municipal and regional police forces in a transparent and accessible manner and to ensure that both complainants and police officers are dealt with fairly and impartially. 
We are tasked to contribute to the maintenance of high standards with respect to the conduct of police officers in the performance of their duties and to ensure the integrity of Police Act investigations.
