Description & Services
Description of service(s) Ostomy Canada Society chapters have been organized in all ten provinces, and are meant to provide an opportunity for persons who have had or may have ostomy surgery and their families, partners, caregivers and friends to meet, provide support and understanding and share information.  
Has trained visitors who, when contacted by the visitor co-ordinator, will visit the patient at the hospital to offer help and advice. Will also do followups.
Dates Program is Offered The third Tuesday of March, April, May, June, and September, October, November.

Eligibility All patients & loved ones of those who have undergone ostomy surgery.
Application Membership forms can be found on our website, but are not required to attend meetings.

Meetings Third Tuesday of the month (excluding: December, January, February, July, August). 
Meetings are held at the Stan Cassidy Center at the DECH at 7:00 pm. Free parking in the parking lot opposite the DECH Theater as well as wheel-chair parking in front of the center. 
Meetings are for support of ostomates and their friends & families and include guest speakers, discussion time, and a time of sharing.
