Description & Services
Description of service(s) PALS is a program that establishes beneficial partnerships between a school and a local business, service agencies and/or community group. By working together, the school and its partners make a positive impact on the life of a child and the future of the community. Companies in the Saint John area are paired with schools and provide support in the way of volunteers or financial assistance. Examples of what PALS can do for schools are: opportunities for children to access events, activities or field trip experiences associated with going to school, or assisting School-Parent groups to provide extras to school such as library, team uniforms or playground resources beyond what the school budget accommodates.
