Description & Services
Description of service(s) A peer support program for anyone dealing with divorce, separation, death, or any family transition that impacts and individual's ability to cope. Rainbows is offered in participating schools in the Anglophone South School District and district scolaire francophone Sud . Rainbows is NOT counselling or therapy. Rainbows is a grief peer support program. 
 
The YMCA of Greater Saint John is currently looking to expand the program. Anyone who is interested in the program or would be willing to facilitate a group, please contact the Rainbows Coordinator at 646-2116.
Dates Program is Offered 13 week program offered in the Fall and Winter/Spring of the school year (Sept - Jun)
Areas Served Grand Bay - Westfield ; Grand Manan ; Hampton ; Quispamsis ; Rothesay ; Saint John ; St Andrews ; St George ; St Stephen ; Sussex
Eligibility Ages: 5 year(s) - 13 year(s) 
 
Student must attend participating school.
Application Children receive registration/permission forms from school and must receive signed consent from parent/guardian.

Fees None ; None-Rainbows is offered at no cost to participants and their families.
