Description of service(s) | The New Brunswick Historical Society works to collect and preserve New Brunswick history; to publish material of historical nature; to educate and promote knowledge of New Brunswick history in particular and history in general. The New Brunswick Historical Society owns and operates the Loyalist House in Saint John, one of the few surviving buildings of the Great Saint John Fire in 1877. |

Meetings | Society meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month, September-November and January-May. Times may vary. Location is typically at the New Brunswick Museum in Market Square, but may vary. Weekly teas are held at the Loyalist House on Wednesdays beginning the first week after July 1, and continue to last Wednesday in August from 1 pm-3 pm. The Saint John Mayor or his designated representatives are present to greet visitors. Admission to the Loyalist House is free for the duration of the mayor's visit. Lunch Hour desert and tea takes place Fridays during the month of August. |
