Description of service(s) The pregnancy and early childhood period lays the foundation for a healthy future for the rest of a person's life. Keeping in mind "early as possible", the voluntary home visiting aspect of the program focuses on children of first time parents from pregnancy up until the age of two. Parents may self refer or request that a referral be made by a health care provider on their behalf for an assessment to enter the program or to become linked to other community supports and services.
