Description of service(s) The Salvation Army Sussex Community Church is dedicated to ministering to people in a practical way, regardless of age, sex, religion, or race. 
 
Through our Community Family Services we provide emergency assistance with provisions of food, clothing, furniture and household goods(as available through our Thrift Store). Assistance must be applied for through a personal visit to the Salvation Army located at 79 Main St., Sussex.  
 
Emergency shelter and assistance is provided to those affected by fire, flooding and other emergencies, as well as pastoral counseling. 
 
The Thrift Store provides clothing,furniture as well as various mis.items to the public at a low and reasonable cost. 
 
Men's Breakfast: community breakfast and fellowship for men, one Saturday morning a month.
Hours Food bank: Tues-Wed 1PM-4PM Thurs 5pm-8pm 
Thrift Store: Mon-Sat 9am - 4pm 
Pastoral Services:varied hours 
Church Office: Mon 9AM-12PM, Tues-Thur-9AM-4PM

Eligibility Food bank: Must be in need, low income, unemployed or on Income Assistance. 
 
No income restrictions.
